I'm currently a sophomore in IB classes (more advanced than AP) with a current GPA of 3.85. I take before and after school activities, am in math team (with many trophies), Key Club and other volunteering activites (+100 hours community serv.), play for the tennis team, am in the Tacoma Youth Symphony (2nd violin, 1st violinist), etc…..

My aim right now is the University of Berkeley, but are there any other suggestions? And anything I can do to improve my resume?

Doesn't really matter which one is better (AP or IB).

It doesn't matter if you won many trophies or received over 100 hours. What matter is, what did you do in those clubs? Sure you got tons of trophies, but for what? I know people in math teams who practically don't do anything and their teams still got trophies and awards. I know people in Key Club who became Presidents and don't do anything (thats life).

Even though you have done these things, if you don't explain throughly on what exactly did you do in these clubs (like in Key Club, you made hundreds of cards for hospitals or you answered that trig question) then those "titles" are meaningless.

Your GPA is solid, I can assure you that. Make sure you take all the required tests and exams (Sat 1 or ACT, 2 SAT II Subject tests, etc.) by your Senior year.

I won't recommend which Universities you should go to (thats your decision and no one else's (not even your parents')). But please take advantage of your College and Career Center 9if your school has one) if you want to know more about these tests, other colleges (you should apply to at least four or more colleges in case UC Berkeley rejects you), and more.

Since you're applying for Computer Science you should take plenty of math (about 3 to 4 years including intermediate algebra. Calculus or Pre-calculus is recommended), and science (about 3 to 4 years as well including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics). If possible, take some computer classes (Java or C++ programming recommended).

I would perably want to stay closer to home plus it is cheaper that way since I don't have a lot of money for school.

If you don't have a lot of money for school, you should go to one of the big state schools. CU and CSU both have fine comp sci programs, but if money is really an issue I would go to CSU as the cost of living is lower there. Fort Collins is a really nice place as well. If you think you could get a scholarship, Colorado School of Mines is excellent for all math-related fields. I hear that the social life there leaves something to be desired, though.
