I want to break into the video game industry if I do not have what it takes to become a doctor, so I was just wondering. I am really torn between the two right now, and I would just like to know if I would be able to be premed if I majored in Computer Science and Engineering.
Yes, you can, but you would need to take the basic coursework in the Sciences (like Bio, Chem, Physics). I have even heard of English majors applying to Med school.

Actually, the folks that score best on their MCATs are engineering majors. Engineers are trained to think differently than, say, bio majors; they don't just memorize stuff but consider entire physical systems before finding a solution.
So go for it. You can always change your mind later.

Its possible yes, but it will be very difficult to balance both workloads. Math and physics will overlap, but you will have to take more biology, chemistry, and english, and study for the MCATs. My advice would be to talk to talk to a counselor at the college you end up going to.
My roommate first year was a computer science major, and I am pre-med, and I can tell you that our classes were/are very different and very difficult, but if you want to do it, and can commit to extra classes, I say go for it.

Haha I'm in the same boat as you. I'm in my last semester as a senior in Computer Engineering and am planning to take the MCATs to apply to Med school. You can go to Med school from any background as long as you have an undergraduate degree (and a few other things). In fact, this diversity is why Med schools accept applications from all over.
