i'm from the philippines, taking up computer science, can i be a graphics artist or web designer on this course ? if not what course should i take ? is it in demand here and abroad ? do they make big money ? do i need more training (dreamweaver, photoshop, XTML…..) ?
programming is ok for me but i like art much more better because i like drawing….
do this career very rewarding ?
In the US you can actually take classes in graphic design.
Also, there are many talented web designers who never went to school, but they have a passion for designing web sites. (The most successful people that I know in high tech all dropped out of college.)
This is a competitive field. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you have a passion for it.

ill suggest u aim bit more higher…..
how about carrier in CAD/CAM…
or Simulation , OpenGL game programming…
and most artistic is… Animation industry………
